Ambassador of France to Armenia Olivier Decottignies, accompanied by the Head of the Education, Culture and Sports Department of the Ararat Governor’s Office, Martun Manukyan, visited Artak Hambardzumyan secondary school in Shahumyan village of Ararat region.
The staff of the Governor of Ararat informs on its “Facebook” page that during the visit, a number of issues related to the teaching of French language were discussed.
It is noted that at the school, the Ambassador also met and talked with schoolchildren who were forcibly displaced from Artsakh and are continuing their education in the above-mentioned educational institution.
According to the source, those present took part in the event organized by the French circle of the school. The Ambassador also donated French books and educational materials to the school to organize the teaching of French language more effectively.
