Aram Sargsyan, Leader of the “Hanrapetutyun” (Republic) Party, wrote on his Facebook page:

“For further processes, it is very important for the UN Observation Mission to reach Artsakh. What can they fix now?

1) The reality is fresh: the Azerbaijanis did not manage to clean up the tracks and the observation group confirmed that the war processes were on a large scale, including villages and cities. The wide scale of military operations is an important record.

2) Artsakh has been emptied, there is no population, which justifies the fact that Azerbaijan, with its actions, has made it impossible for an Armenian to live in his own home.

3) And most importantly, leaving the homeland of so many people in 3-4 days is possible only in the case of the threat of genocide… This visit and the records of the Observation Mission will become the main tool for punishing Azerbaijan in the political and legal sphere and addressing the Artsakh problem. Azerbaijan is facing the danger of being recognized as a genocidal country, the USA and the EU will definitely use this tool to curb Azerbaijan’s terrorist and fanatical policy.”
