There are certain hopes for a positive change in the situation: Nikol Pashinyan

Before the Government Session, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the situation in Artsakh.

“The situation continues to be extremely tense, the humanitarian crisis continues, we are in constant contact with our partners in Nagorno-Karabakh and as a result of the discussions we had this morning, we can state, however, that there are certain hopes for a positive change in the situation and this is the assessment of a number of our partners in Nagorno-Karabakh, which we also share in some sense.

What we are talking about, when we say that there are hopes for positive developments, we mean that our compatriots living in Nagorno-Karabakh settlements can get a real opportunity to return to their homes, he said.

According to the Prime Minister, it should be noted that the situation is dynamic and changeable; the information available at this time may change in half an hour.

“But it’s very important that we have accurate information about that moment and also some understanding of the dynamics at any given moment.”

There are certain hopes for the improvement of the humanitarian situation, it is not excluded that larger batches of humanitarian aid will enter NK today. Now I simply cannot say in more detail, because there are certain agreements, their implementation should start at this moment. I cannot say whether it will start or not, but it is clear that there are agreements,” Pashinyan said.
