“Since the beginning of active military operations, Russian peacekeepers have evacuated civilians from Martakert, Martuin and Askeran regions.
About 5,000 people were passed to the peacekeeping contingent. All evacuated residents of Nagorno-Karabakh were provided with accommodation and hot food. Military doctors of the Russian special purpose medical unit provide quality medical care to civilians.
Through the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, an agreement was reached with the conflicting parties on the complete cessation of hostilities. The situation is monitored around the clock,” the message said.
