The construction of a 90 kW solar photovoltaic plant on the roof of building No. 2 has started at the Polytechnic.
Gor Vardanyan, Rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia reported.
“As a result, the Polytechnic will save an average of 6,140,000 AMD per year and reduce CO2 emissions to the environment by 60 tons.
The station is designed and built by our professional team with the participation of students.
Such programs are aimed at saving financial resources of the university, reducing emissions in the environment, increasing the quality of professional education and increasing the number of the professional community with the ability to solve applied problems.
The project was financed by the Polytechnic Scientific and Educational Fund,” he said.
