Today, I hosted the management of Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) led by the Director General Roman Khudoli at the Polytechnic. Rector  Gor Vardanyan informs about this.

“The delegation included First Deputy Director Vardan Jhanyan, Deputy Director  Artur Nikoghosyan and Director  of Sustainable Development Armen Stepanyan.

We have discussed with the management of the Institute of Mountain Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies of the Armenian Academy of Sciences the challenges and the necessary actions for the development prospects regarding the educational programs.

I have presented to my colleagues my approaches to make sector educational programs in demand and competitive. We have reached an agreement with institutional cooperation to solve the problems of training the existing professional personnel in the field in the next 5 years.

The Executive Director  of ZCMC, in turn, noting the importance of engineering education in terms of the country’s economy and stability, expressed his willingness to support the Polytechnic on the path of deep and meaningful reforms.

For the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine and for the long-term close cooperation with the ASSU, I awarded the Director  General of ZCMC Roman Khudoli with the Golden Commemorative Medal of NPUA.

Within the framework of the visit, the management of ZCMC visited a number of laboratories, centers of excellence, Institute of Higher Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies of NPUA,” Vardanyan noted.
