On 31 Jul Multi-Stakeholder Whistle-Blowing Platform multi-stakeholder working platform of Disclosure was held with the involvement of the members of the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia within the framework of the “Multifaceted Whistle-Blowing (WB) Promotion in Armenia” project implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association with the support of the Open Governance Partnership.
The representatives of civil society organizations and state bodies, including the Corruption Prevention Commission, the Investigative Committee, the Office of the Human Rights Defender, the Health and Labor Inspection Authority, and the Ministry of Justice attended the session.
The “Multifaceted Whistle-Blowing (WB) Promotion in Armenia” project and the Multi-Stakeholder Whistle-Blowing Platform were presented.
The existing whistle-blowing platforms were discussed separately, in particular: the unified electronic platform for whistle-blowing www.azdararir.am, which is operated by the RA Prosecutor’s Office, www.employeeprotect.am, the online platform for the protection of employees’ rights, which is operated by the RA Health and Labor Inspection Authority, www.bizprotect.am is the electronic platform for reporting violations in business, which is operated by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
An alternative the newly built whistle-blowing platform www.haytnir.am to be managed by the civil society, which will be launched by the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia was also presented.
This publication has been prepared within the framework of the “Multifaceted Whistle-Blowing Promotion in Armenia” implemented by the Armenian Lawyers Association with the support of the Open Government Partnership. Within the framework of the project, it is also planned to create an alternative Whistle-Blowing Platform operated by Civil Society. In addition, a multi-stakeholder working platform for whistle-blowing has already been established, which will serve as a platform for promoting reforms and dialogue of CSOs and related bodies.
