Richard G. Hovhannisyan, the World-Renowned Scientist, Academician of the National Academy of Armenia, founder and first head of the Department of Modern Armenian History at the California State University, author of the monumental four-volume work “Republic of Armenia” and the Armenian Genocide and author of many books on Historical Homeland, passed away yesterday, on July 10, in the city of Los Angeles, USA at the age of 90.
