There are still people who believe that there is guaranteed security of the people of Artsakh, guaranteed protection of the rights of the people of Artsakh. Yes, from the days of the 44-day war of 2020, starting from the killings and torture, beheadings, and amputations of civilians, to the capture, siege, and starvation of the people of Artsakh, all these are “brilliant guarantees” for the protection of the security and rights of our people.

Artsakh Republic State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan stated during the Stepanakert-Yerevan press conference today, on 6 July.

“Ignoring all this, ignoring the legal goals and plans of the Azerbaijani actions presented by us from the very first day and turning a blind eye to our interpretations of the events, the international community is a silent participant in the unimaginable crime being committed against the long-suffering people of Artsakh today.

The international community did not even stand for the execution of the decision of The Hague Court, a court whose decision should be considered and accepted as a unanimous and unequivocal decision of the civilized world, the non-fulfillment of which should now be lit like a red light in all states. But even after all this, it is not too late. Please, at least now, listen to the people at the center of these events. No one else wants peace in this region than we do. Support the establishment of long-term peace in the region, but realize that no peace can be achieved at the price of genocide, ethnic cleansing of the people of Artsakh,” the Minister of State of Artsakh said.
