Azerbaijan responded positively to the proposal of the Armenian side to convene a meeting of the border delimitation commissions between Armenia and Azerbaijan. RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told reporters that the response is positive, but there is still no agreement on the place, time and date of the meeting. “I suppose we will have a meeting soon.”
He mentioned that issues on the agenda will be discussed. “It refers to the working meeting of the commissions on demarcation issues.”
To remind, on 17 June, Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan’s office reported that Mher Grigoryan sent to Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafaev, an offer to Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev to hold a meeting of the Armenia-Azerbaijan delimitation commissions. It was noted that the purpose of the proposal is, in particular, to discuss current problematic issues that cause tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
