By the decision of the Judge of the RA Criminal Court of Appeal Karen Amiryan, the prosecutor’s appeal was satisfied, and a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen against the former Chief of Staff of the Yerevan Municipality Seyran Mejlumyan.

The Judicial Department reported.

Let’s remind that on March 17, Seyran Mejlumyan, the Secretary of Staff of Yerevan Municipality, submitted an application for resignation. He was appointed to this position on 19 July, 2022. Before that he held the position of the Assistant to the Myor.

Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan also announced his resignation on 17March.
