On 28 March, the Anti-Corruption Court continued the trial in the case of former Head of Police Vladimir Gasparyan, his former deputy Levon Yeranosyan, Head of the Police Internal Audit Department Vardan Tunyan and Police Unit Commander Gurgen Grigoryan.
Iravaban.net reports that the indictments regarding the defendants were published in the court today. After the publication of the conclusion, presiding Judge Vardges Sargsyan asked Vladimir Gasparyan to present his position on it.
The former Head of Police announced that he does not accept the presented accusation.
“There is a character who is sitting in the United States, discrediting everyone in this country. It is the phenomenon of Vardan Ghukasyan, who used to be our employee. I fired him for sodomy in his office. This criminal case was initiated under the guise of his statements,” Gasparyan said.
