Judge Zaruhi Nakhshkaryan was subjected to severe reprimand for non withdrawal in the case of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s daughter, Shushan Pashinyan. The Supreme Judicial Council satisfied the request of the Ministry of Justice regarding the disciplinary action against Judge of Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction Zaruhi Nakhshkaryan.
SJC members Chichoyan and Mkhitaryan voted against disciplinary action, Makyan and Mkhitaryan presented a special opinion.
Notably, the disciplinary proceeding has been initiated against the judge of Judge of Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, Zaruhi Nakhshkaryan, for non withdrawal in the case of Nikol Pashinyan’s daughter, “Shushan Pashinyan’s against Narek Samsonyan”.
It should be noted that Nakhshkaryan will not be held responsible for the decision to return the lawsuit submitted to the court a year and a half ago on the grounds of violation of the court order.
