Azerbaijan’s Dictator Aliyev made some false claims at the Munich Security Conference: Beglaryan

Artak Beglaryan, adviser to the Minister of State of the Republic of Artsakh, on his Telegram page referred to the false claims made by Ilham Aliyev at the Munich Security Conference.

“Azerbaijan’s dictator Aliyev made some false claims at the Munich Security Conference today, in response to which I will mention:

  • The four UN resolutions of 1993 call on both sides to stop hostilities, but Azerbaijan did not adhere and continued the war.
  • Those resolutions recognize the forces of Nagorno Karabakh as a party to the conflict, but not Armenia.
  • According to the official documents of the Government of Soviet Azerbaijan, during this period only 17 mosques were counted in all the territories under the control of Artsakh, while Aliyev claims about 67.
  • We have not deliberately destroyed any mosque, we have even restored the Shushi Mosque and preserved the existing ones as much as we could.

I will present the rest of his lies and ‘facts’ in detailed notes later.”
