Entry restrictions for RA citizens to Iran have been changed

Iravaban.net reports that on 13 January, the rules regarding restrictions on the entry and exit of RA citizens to the Republic of Iran due to COVID-19 were changed.

RA citizens can freely enter and leave the territory of Iran both by air and by land.

Citizens of the Republic of Iran can freely enter and exit the territory of Armenia both by air and by land.

Restrictions on entering the country (health, etc.): Citizens of Iran, as well as other countries (countries that are not included in the list of high-risk countries in terms of the spread of the coronavirus), must submit one of the following documents to enter the Islamic Republic of Iran:

  • A valid certificate of vaccination with at least two doses of coronavirus, in which case at least two weeks must have passed since the second vaccination,
  • A valid PCR test certificate with a negative result (not more than 72 hours old).
