Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, three patients from the “Republican Medical Center” CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic: The patients’ diagnoses are “Pregnancy I, 13-14 weeks, twin, one of the fetuses is suspected to have an anomaly, condition after in vitro fertilization”, “Thymoma, state after thymectomy: from the right, metastatic lesion of the left lung, mesothelioma” and “Left-sided congenital lopsidedness, residual equinus deformity”.

With the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the three patients were transferred to different specialized medical centers of the RA today.
Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic.
11 children are in the neonatal and resuscitation wards in “Arevik” Medical Association.
At the “Republican Medical Center” CJSC, 8 patients are in the intensive care unit, 3 of them are in an extremely serious condition. The doctors are doing their best to stabilize the condition of the patients.
Until today, a total of 19 patients were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
