Prime Minister confirmed the composition of the working group formed for the management of the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan decided to form a working group to support the people of Nagorno Karabakh in managing the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno Karabakh.

“In order to support the people of Nagorno-Karabakh in the management of the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, create a working group and confirm its individual composition according to the annex,” the Prime Minister’s decision states.

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan was appointed head of the working group.

During the 29 December Government session, Nikol Pashinyan announced: “I have decided to form a working group headed by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan to support the people of Nagorno-Karabakh in the management of the established humanitarian crisis, whose task will be to monitor humanitarian issues with the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh and provide the necessary urgent support, including with the help of international organizations. The working group will also include the Ministers of Health, Labor and Social Affairs, Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, as well as representatives of other departments.”

Let us remind that from 12 December until now, Azerbaijan continues to close the only highway connecting Artsakh to the world, the Lachin Corridor, citing false environmental reasons.
