Today, on 22 December, the Supreme Judicial Council continued the examination of the issue of subjecting to disciplinary responsibility Anna Pilosyan, Judge of the Court of the First Instance of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan.

At today’s session, the judge made a final speech, after which the SJC announced the end of the case investigation and left the deliberation room to make a decision. It will be published on 26 December at 17:45.

Let’s remind that according to the justifications of the petition presented by the Ministry of Justice, that in the in the four civil cases mentioned in the case files, the judge did not observe the procedural deadlines for publishing the verdict in the case being examined under the simplified procedure and sending the copy of the verdict to the persons participating in the case, as a result of which the effective judicial protection of the plaintiff’s rights, as well as the exercise of the right to a trial within a reasonable time, which is an element of the right to a fair trial were violated.
