Today, on 16 December, the National Assembly, in its second reading and fully accepted the legislative initiative presented by the Government, according to which the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be established in Armenia.

The draft was adopted as a result of voting with 67 votes in favor and 6 against.

There will be three services within the Ministry of Internal Affairs: the Rescue Service, the Police, and the Migration and Citizenship Service. It should be noted that Arpine Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Justice, presented the issue in the National Assembly.
