On 12 December, President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree stating:

“Based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister in accordance with Article 131 of the Constitution, and Article 5, Part 1 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government.

Hambardzum MATEVOSYAN is released from the post of Deputy Prime Minister,” the decree states.

Matevosyan was appointed to this position on 25 November, 2021.
