The Stepanakert-Shushi interstate road has been closed for 6 hours. Artsakh Police reported.

Violating international humanitarian rights, Azerbaijan is trying to create a humanitarian disaster in Artsakh. Hundreds of citizens, including minors, were left on the road. Some of them returned to Goris, and the citizens who were waiting for hours in the Stepanakert-Shushi zone were moved to Stepanakert accompanied by traffic police officers.

It has become impossible to transport medical supplies, medicines and patients with serious health problems to Artsakh.

Negotiations are still ongoing. Additional information will be provided regarding developments.

As we have already reported , a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway at 10:30 this morning, again for environmental reasons.

As of 4:40 p.m., the road remains closed both ways.
