On 9 December, an event dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day was held at the Office of the Secretariat of CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, in which the newly elected members of the Coalition’s Governing Board and representatives of the youth Lilit Nersisyan and Asya Poghosyan, who were selected from the participants of the last online module of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders launched by the Anti-Corruption Coalition and the Integrity Camp organized by the “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO took part.
At the beginning of the event, the members of the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia made speeches, followed by the presentations of Lilit Nersisyan and Asya Poghosyan. Further a productive discussion about the need for anti-corruption education in Armenia, its vision, structures and pillars of national identity that are a component of anti-corruption education took place.
An award ceremony was held in the second part of the event, during which members of the Anti-Corruption Coalition, Arpine Hakobyan and Mariam Chakhoyan, handed letters of gratitude and books to Asya Poghosyan and Lilit Nersisyan.
The Coordinator of the Coalition Secretariat of the the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, handed letters of gratitude to the Chairman of the the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, Arkady Sahakyan, and member Mariam Chakhoyan.
