The issue of status is a key issue in the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh #conflict, moreover, the most difficult one.

Davit Babayan, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, wrote on his Facebook page.

It is impossible solve this issue for 100 percent in the short and medium term perspective. Therefore, the only option for regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, ensuring stability and peace in the region, is to leave this issue for the future, because this is the most difficult issue and it is impossible reach a quick solution here. This is the most expedient efficient option.

In general, any proposal with such an approach is acceptable to us. Russia has this approach because it understands the region very deeply, it also bears historical responsibility for maintaining peace and stability here. In other words, it is real, and any other option will lead to war.
