The RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure reports that drinking water will not become more expensive for citizens until 2024.

“Regarding the publications in the media about the increase in the price of drinking water by about 9 drams from 1 January, we inform that the Public Services Regulatory Commission has already completed the study of the application of “Veolia Water” and should make a decision at the meeting to be held by the end of November.

Regardless of the final decision of the PSRC, the Government will neutralize the price increase for all groups of consumers with an adequate subsidy if necessary.

In other words, drinking water will not become more expensive for citizens until 2024.”
