Rustam Bakoyan, member of the National Assembly, posted on his Facebook page. “Yezdis have a hero of Artsakh, Kyaram Sloyan.”
In a conversation with Iravaban.net, the MP mentioned that it is the first time that a Yazidi citizen of the Republic of Armenia receives this highest title.
“Today we handed over the medal to Kyarm Sloyan’s family members,” he said.
Kyaram Sloyan is a participant of the Four-Day April War. He served in Martakert region.
He was born on 27 April, 1996 in Artashavan village of Aragatsotn region of Armenia. Kyaram was one of the first victims of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani Four-Day War. He was two months left demobilization from military service. Armenak Urfanyan was his commander.
It should be noted that the corresponding decree of the President of the Republic of Artsakh has not yet been published.
