Kim Hekimyan has been appointed Health Policy Advisor of the Ministry of Health.
“The Ministry of Health is happy to welcome Doctor of Public Health, Professor Kim Hekimyan to its team. Kim is a lecturer at Columbia University in New York, Deputy Director of the VP&S Program in Public Health, and a lecturer at the American University in Armenia.
She specializes in maternal and child health care, especially in the field of nutrition. Dr. Hekimyan has been appointed Health Policy Advisor to the Minister of Health.
“This model of Diaspora cooperation is new. There are public health experts from around the world coming together to bring to life new ideas for providing accessible, impartial and high-quality services for our country,” Kim says.
“APRI Armenia” Applied Policy Research Institute of Armenia and “HENAR” Foundation (Health Network For Armenia) contributed to Kim Hekimyan’s cooperation with the Ministry of Health,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
