On 3 November, at 6:51 p.m., the Armavir regional crisis management center was alerted that an accident had occurred on the Armavir-Metsamor highway. The help of rescuers is needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Two rescue teams from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications went to the scene of the incident.

It was found that on the 4th km of the Armavir-Yerevan highway, the “GAZel” minibus number 232 serving the Yerevan-Armavir-Karakert route (driver: M. Ch.) and the “ZIL” truck (driver: S. S. born in 1976) collided, as a result of which the “GAZel” minibus overturned.

As a result of the accident, 4 citizens (N. K., born in 2003, M. Kh., born in 2004, H. M., born in 2007, D. S., born in 1975) died, and 7 citizen (H. M., born in 1996, G. G., born in 2002, Kh. Kh., born in 1999, F. R., born in 2002, P. E., born in 2003, Z. L., born in 2007, K. A. born in 2004) were injured.

Before the rescuers reached the place, the “GAZel” minibus was diverted by the local forces.

The rescuers took out of the “GAZel” minibus, the body of N. K. (born in 2003) and brought it to the ambulance, cordoned off the area, cut off the power to the car and closed the gas cylinder valve.

Victims G. G. (2002), F. R. (2002), P. E. (2003), Z. L. (2007), K. A. (2004), H. M. (1996) and Kh. Kh. (1999) were transferred to Armavari Medical Center, from where H. M. and Kh. Kh. were transferred to “St. Grigor Lusavorich” Medical Center in Yerevan, and the others, after receiving medical care, were discharged.
