The political developments unfolding around Armenia and Artsakh, the escalating situation surrounding the solution of the Artsakh problem, on which, without exaggeration, the destinies of both Armenia and the Armenian world depend, are of great concern to me. Public-politician Ruben Vardanyan stated on the Facebook page.

“I realize that there is no more time to think for a long time, and in this situation I have no other way than to stand by the people of Artsakh and take my share of responsibility for the future of Artsakh.

During a month and a half, meetings and interactions with Artsakh political and public figures, representatives of different regions and different social groups convinced me that people support my candidacy for the position of the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh and want to see me as a responsible leader who will unite all healthy forces around him, and will lead the real work to get the country out of the crisis.

At the beginning of November, I will officially assume the position of Artsakh State Minister and at that time I will present our strategic goals, priority issues to be resolved, and also inform about the first steps to be taken. Until the end of October, I will continue the meetings aimed at the formation of the team and our plans,” the post states.

Earlier, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan informed that he offered Ruben Vardanyan to assume the position of the State Minister of Artsakh.
