Press Secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense Aram Torosyan, in response to the question of “Armenpress”, commented on the video spread on the Azerbaijani “Telegram” channels, in which the allegedly Azerbaijani servicemen brutally shoot Armenian prisoners.

Footage published online showing the gruesome extrajudicial executions of captive Armenian troops by Azerbaijani soldiers is undoubtedly authentic, the Armenian Ministry of Defense said.

“We can’t say any concrete data about the location and time at this moment, relevant authorities are now analyzing the footage. In terms of authenticity, we believe there is no doubt, this is the typical signature of the Azerbaijani armed forces. This signature is known to us and the international community from the undeniable evidence of similar cases that happened in the past as well,” Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan told ARMENPRESS.
