80 of the students and graduates of the Polytechnic became immortal for the sake of our country and statehood: Gor Vardanyan

The war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia has no date, it is every day, from days-long hostilities to various episodes of border incidents. Gor Vardanyan, Rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, wrote on his Facebook page.

“During this period, thousands of Armenians fought for our homeland, independence and existence of Armenians at the cost of their lives, among whom were the students and graduates of the Polytechnic. 80 of them died for the sake of our country and statehood. The dreams of becoming an engineer, empowering the country and realizing various technological ideas remained half-finished.

This irreversible loss is the share of responsibility of every Armenian, it should be expressed through loving the country, not leaving it, not being disappointed, acting with faith, being stronger and more honest, working hard, building and drawing conclusions.

Humbly and forever and ever glory to our Armenians,” he said.
