As a result of the Azerbaijani military aggression, an incident occurred during the removal of the bodies of the Armenian side. The Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Pambukhchyan stated in an interview given to the First Channel.

The rescue worker was captured. According to the Minister, as a result of negotiations lasting 3.5 hours, he was exchanged for an Azerbaijani captive.

Let’s note that on the night of 12-13 September, the armed forces of Azerbaijan launched a large-scale aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, using large-caliber weapons, artillery, missile systems, and drones. During the whole day, they tried to ensure positional advancement, particularly in the direction of Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish and Sotk. On 14 September, the enemy resumed pre-offensive operations, particularly in the directions of Jermuk and Verin Shorzha, using also attack UAVs.

As a result of the aggression, the number of dead and missing persons reaches 207, including 3 civilians killed, the location of 2 civilians is considered unknown, 293 servicemen, 3 civilians were wounded, 20 servicemen were captured. There are evidences of cases of torture, mutilation, and thus illegal killing of captured or killed Armenian servicemen by Azerbaijanis.
