During the Government session, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the number of confirmed victims, as of now, is 135.

“Unfortunately, this number is not final yet. There are wounded,” he noted, then gave the floor to Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan to present the operational situation.

The minister noted that during the night the ceasefire was maintained, the armed forces continued to fulfill the task set before them.

“The Armenian position is clear and unequivocal: the Azerbaijani armed forces must withdraw from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. it is not only about the events of the last days, but also about the invasion that took place in the Khoznavar sector in May last year,” he said.

Papikyan noted that the military commissariats are ready to receive and locate all those citizens who want to enlist and go to training on a voluntary basis, in order to ensure their applicability if necessary.
