Today, on 15 September, in the National Assembly, Anna Vardapetyan assumed the post of the RA Prosecutor General.
“Assuming the position of the Prosecutor General, I swear to be steadfastly guided by the Constitution and Laws of the Republic of Armenia, to protect the rights and freedoms of people and citizens from criminal encroachments, the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Armenia, to strengthen legality with my activities, to uphold the reputation of the Prosecutor’s Office, the title and good reputation of the prosecutor,” she swore.
As we have already reported, by the 14 September secree of the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Vardapetyan was released from the post of the Assistant to Prime Minister.
Let’s remind that the National Assembly elected Anna Vardapetyan, Assistant to the Prime Minister, to the position of RA Prosecutor General at the extraordinary session of 29 June.
