She will be greatly missed: John Gallagher, British Ambassador to Armenia

The United Kingdom Ambassador to Armenia John Gallagher’s post on Twitter:

“My deepest condolences to the Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

She was an example to us all of dignity, integrity and public service.

She will be greatly missed.

May she rest in peace.”

Let’s remind that Queen Elizabeth II died in the afternoon of 8 September at her Scottish residence in Balmoral.

Let’s remind that she ascended the throne on 6 February, 1952, and was crowned on 2 June, 1953 after the death of her father, King George VI. Elizabeth II is the longest reigning monarch in the history of Great Britain. Since 24 January, 2015, she has been the longest-serving monarch in the world, following the death of King Abdullah Ibn AbdulAziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.
