The working visit to the USA continues.

As part of a working visit to the USA, on 6 September, accompanied by Ms Lilit Makunts the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the USA, I visited the Salina Education Center operating in the state of Kansas.  I met with the Adjutant General (TAG) of the State of Kansas , the commander of the National Guard, Major General David Weishaar.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to cooperation between Armenia and Kansas within the framework of the US state partnership program were discussed.

I highly appreciated the current level of cooperation, emphasizing the great potential in the fields of peacekeeping mission, military education and training, as well as military medicine. For his part, Major General David Weishaar noted that the Republic of Armenia has been a traditional partner of Kansas for decades and expressed his willingness to make maximum efforts to develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation made a tour of the Salina Training Center got acquainted with the educational process, training and the organization of military exercises.
