As of 7:00 a.m., rescuers have recovered five bodies.
The press spokesman of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan reported.
“As of now, there are 15 dead citizens.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing.”
As of 07:00 on 16 August, as a result of search and rescue operations, the bodies of 15 citizens were found.
Misak Patvakan Margaryan, born in 1964, Anahit Vazgen Mkhitaryan, born in 1967, Jemma Sargis Nazaryan, born in 1960, Anahit Zarzand Khalatyan, Vardan Gurgeni Kocharyan, born in 1960 and Gayane Artavazd Avetisyan, born in 1966 and the bodies of nine unidentified citizens, including one child.
