Margarit Azaryan, the mother of opposition MP Arthur Vanetsyan, was relieved from post by the 10 March order of the acting President of the Republic Alen Simonyan.

The order read: “Based on Article 139, Part 1 of the Constitution, and  Article 9, Part 10 of the Law on Public Service.

To relieve Margarit Azaryan from the post of Assistant to the President of the Republic from 11 March, 2022.”

Azaryan was appointed to this position by the order of the 4th President Armen Sargsyan on 15 April, 2019.
