The Artsakh Defense Army did not open fire on the Azerbaijani positions

On 9 March, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a statement claiming that the units of the Artsakh Defense Army fired at the Azerbaijani military positions with firearms, after which they responded.

“This statement has nothing to do with reality. Artsakh Defense Army not only did not open fire on the Azerbaijani positions, but, as we have already mentioned earlier, on 7 and 8 March, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired at the village of Khramort twice, respectively. It is mentioned in the statement of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, the Ministry reported that on 8 March, at around 23:00 pm, in the section of Khramort village in the Askeran region of Artsakh, the enemy violated the ceasefire once again, firing 3 mines from a 60 mm caliber grenade launcher in the direction of the village.

There are no victims from the Armenian side.

The ceasefire violation was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops.

Currently, the operative-tactical situation is calm.
