At the 3 March sitting of the Government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the newly elected Human Rights Defender of Armenia Kristinne Grigoryan, wishing her success in her work.

“We expect that the effectiveness of the Ombudsman Institution in Armenia will increase, and will help the RA state authorities to raise the level of protection of human rights in the country,” he said.

Kristinne Grigoryan noted that cooperation with all branches of the Government is necessary for the full implementation of the human rights mandate.
