Hakob Arshakyan, Vice President of the National Assembly, acting President of the National Assembly, signed a statement, according to which the Supreme Judicial Council has nominated candidates for judges of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation.

“According to Part 3 of Article 166 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Part 2 of Article 143 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, the Supreme Judicial Council nominated Mesrop Makyan and Anna Margaryan for one of the vacancies in the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation. The candidacies of Arsen Nikoghosyan, and the candidacies of Lusine Abgaryan, Sergey Marabyan and Rubik Mkhitaryan for the other vacant position of judge,” the decision reads.
