The meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has started in the Kremlin.

TASS reported, noting that the meeting is being held in compliance with all anti-Covid restrictions.

After the meeting, the leaders will give a press conference.

Earlier Russian media reported that the leaders of the two countries will discuss the implementation of trilateral agreements on Nagorno Karabakh on November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, including the unblocking of economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus. They also plan to discuss the whole set of issues related to the further development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. According to the report, a declaration on allied cooperation will be signed as a result of the talks.
