The President of France Emmanuel Macron made a post in his Facebook page in Armenian language, which says:
“Eight Armenian detainees were released by Azerbaijan and transferred from Baku to Yerevan. They returned to their families, from which they had been separated for several months. Thanks to our diplomats united in this operation, as well as to the soldiers. Moving forward!”
It should be reminded that as a result of a remote meeting held on 4 February, 8 Armenian prisoners of war returned to their homeland through the mediation of French President Emmanuel Macron and President of European Council Charles Michel.
