Advocate of Kajaran Mayor Manvel Paramazyan informs that the Criminal Court of Appeal has made a decision to detain Manvel Paramazyan again.
It should be reminded that Paramazyan’s pretrial detention was changed on 17 December, when the Syunik Region Court of General Jurisdiction, chaired by Judge Boris Bakhshiyan, made a decision to change the Mayor’s pre-trial detention to 70 million drams bail.
It should be reminded that he was charged with Article 38-178 (aiding and abetting fraud), Article 311 (bribery) and Article 154.2 (giving or taking bribe, bribery of voters, violation of the prohibition of charity during elections, or obstructing the exercise of the voter’s free will) of the RA Criminal Code.
Paramazyan denies the accusation.
