During the first sitting of the third session of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation, Aregnaz Manukyan, a member of the “Armenia” Faction, said that according to unofficial information, Alen Simonyan included his wife in a business trip to the United States and have use a business class air ticket.

“If you are aware, present to the public to what extent the unofficial information I have mentioned is true, and present how much money has been allocated from the pockets of the proud citizens of Armenia for that visit,” she said.

Aregnaz Manukyan noted that Alen Simonyan had visited seven countries as the President of the National Assembly, for which about 120 thousand USD had been spent from the state budget.

Hakob Arshakyan said that he was surprised by Aregnaz Manukyan’s questions, as she is also an MP, and is aware that all expenses are transparent.
