It should be reminded that the main objective of the anti-corruption strategy of the Republic of Armenia is the consistent implementation of the conceptual presuppositions and principles announced by the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the field of fight against corruption, including identifying and eliminating the causes of corruption, sowing and spreading the intolerant attitude of the public and public servants towards corruption, and widespread and continuous reduction of corruption.
The anti-corruption strategy, as a set task, also envisages the formation of a lawful and conscientious image of a public servant through the introduction of appropriate structures to ensure accountability, transparency and integrity.
In response to an oral inquiry by Iravaban.net the Secretariat of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia informed that the purchases of cars from one person without a tender, as well as these unnecessary and unreasonable purchases could not contribute in any way to the formation of a legitimate and conscientious image of a public servant among the society that is envisaged by the Anti-Corruption Strategy.
