During the Government session, the Prime Minister suggested starting visits to the homes of unvaccinated citizens based on the information available to the polyclinics and offering to be vaccinated. The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan mentioned that this is exactly what is being done.

In a briefing with reporters, the minister said that facilitating the vaccination process for people has been a top priority for them.

“We have home visiting groups that can vaccinate people with disabilities or other illnesses that have difficulty with leaving home. Yes, the outpatient doctor must always be aware of what part of the population is vaccinated,” Anahit Avanesyan said.

Referring to the question whether she or people from the ministry visit the citizens who have returned from captivity, the minister said, “There should be a definite purpose for the visit, if there is a need for a specialist or for any medical care, it will definitely be provided, both in prisons and in our specialized medical centers.”
