Baku handed over five Armenian prisoners of war to Yerevan

On 29 December, the Azerbaijani authorities handed over five Armenian prisoners of war to Armenia.

The Azerbaijani media reported.

The handover of prisoners of war took place through the mediation of official Budapest.

It is mentioned that it is about the soldiers captured on 16 November in Kelbajar region. The prisoners of war handed over to the Armenian side are citizens of the Republic of Armenia.

It is also mentioned that on 26 November, 2021, 4 December, 1921, Azerbaijan returned 21 captives to Armenia.
