Aregnaz Manukyan, a member of the “Armenia” Faction of the National Assembly, said today, 8 December, when asking a question to the Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan during the NA sitting, that she had submitted a proposal on vaccinations, but it was rejected.
“Both in the world and in Armenia, the main target group of coronary heart disease is our pensioners, people of the age of 65 and over. The proposal was rejected with reasoning that the government does not consider that the method of monetary compensation at this stage is the way that can be effective in protecting the health of our citizens of this group. In fact, it is the practice of this government that it likes to resort to punitive measures, for example, forcing employees to take a PCR test every 7 days, forcing their employers to get vaccinated or again pass a paid PCR test under threat of dismissal, that is, they that is, they do everything, use every method think of coercion, but rejects the means of encouragement,” the deputy said.
