After the Government session, during a briefing with journalists, the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan mentioned that the Government has not yet clarified whether unvaccinated citizens will receive free or paid medical care if they become infected with the coronavirus. “Discussions are still going on, certain calculations are being made.”

She mentioned that the socially insecure and the beneficiaries who are under the care of the state will receive free treatment.

The decision on the treatment of the unvaccinated will be made public on New Year. “We will summarize the proposals as a result of the discussion on 1 January. You will be aware of our further policy in this regard.”
