From 1 January, new restrictions will apply to unvaccinated citizens: Anahit Avanesyan

Restrictions on banning the unvaccinated to enter food and other facilities are still a draft. From 1 January, citizens can enter public catering venues, cultural events, concerts and other events only if they have a negative PCR test or have been vaccinated.

The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stated during the press conference.

“We understand that these restrictive measures may cause some inconvenience, but we put public health issues on the table and think that it is necessary to take such measures. The order will be effective from 1 January,” the Minister said.

Avanesyan mentioned that the citizens who have a contraindication to the vaccine must present a negative coronavirus test when entering public places.
